About Us
Windy N Ranch is a family owned and operated ranch located in Ellensburg, Washington. We specialize in pastured, grass fed & finished Wagyu beef, sheep and goat, as well as pastured Berkshire pork, Freedom Ranger chickens, heritage breed turkeys and free-range eggs, all raised on organic pastures on our family farm. All of our products are processed in our on-site butcher shop. We offer both USDA cuts and WSDA shares available for pick up at the ranch by appointment or at our bi-monthly drops in Bellevue, WA, or you can come see us at several farmers markets in the Seattle area. Check out our website to learn more about our products and farmers markets. Tours are welcome by appointment.
Growing & Operating Practices
We raise all of our animals on Certified Organic pastures using sustainable methods like rotational grazing and have been certified Animal Welfare Approved by AGW for over 10 years. Our cattle, sheep and goats eat grass and only grass from start to finish; they receive no grain, ever. Pigs and poultry, which cannot subsist on grass alone, are fed a corn-free and soy-free supplementary blend of dried peas and barley which we grind in our own hammer mill. We do not use growth hormones, antibiotics, steroids or mRNA vaccines.
