About Us

Whidbey Island Grown Cooperative is a multi-stakeholder cooperative working to increase local food production and consumption on Whidbey Island. We run a Food Hub, which is an online marketplace where over 50 local and regional farmers and producers sell their locally grown and made products to households and businesses across the island. Customers can order online and pick up at 4 locations in Langley, Freeland, Coupeville, and Oak Harbor.
We also provide services to local, small scale farmers and food producers including two cold storage facilities and a place-based marketing brand, where we put on events such as Eat Local Month in September.

Growing & Operating Practices

We represent over 50 local farmers and food producers, who grow and make a wide variety of products from fresh vegetables, herbs, and flowers to meat, dairy, canned goods, fermented foods, goat milk soap, fresh pie, and much more.
