About Us

Tieton Farm & Creamery is located in the beautiful Upper Yakima Valley, where we raise a diversity of animals and crops. We are a women-owned and run, solar-powered farm with mostly dairy goats and sheep living on pastures. We make cheese for people who desire to support responsible farming, fight global warming and eat delicious cheeses made by hand and not by machines, We do not believe in mono-cropping or the confinement of animals, we are the opposite of industrial farming.

Find us at stores, farmers markets and restaurants in Seattle and the Yakima area. We have a small, seasonal farm stand – with limited hours, typically on Wednesday, March-September. We restrict shipping to WA state as shipping perishables does not fit with our commitment to sustainability. Please see our website or contact us for more details.

Growing Methods

Our farming methods are sustainable and animal welfare is a priority. Owner-farmers Ruth & Lori Babcock are improving the farm soil each year without the use of herbicides and pesticides. The pastures are our priority, Our mission is to create unique cheeses from our healthy land and loved animals while protecting earth for future generations.
