    These businesses are committed to sourcing more of their food from local farms and food producers.

  • Salmon Safe Certified

    Third-party certification indicates farms with agricultural practices that protect water quality, salmon habitat, and native biodiversity.

  • Sustainable Seafood

    These businesses hold themselves to the highest standards and go to great lengths to manage their fisheries with best practices for catching/farming with minimal impact on marine habitats and other wildlife. They have been rated “Best Choice” by Monterey Bay’s Seafood Watch program.

  • Food Access & Nutrition Incentives

    These businesses are actively participating in one or more of the following food access and nutrition incentive programs to create a food-secure community: SNAP/EBT, Market Match, WIC, Farmers Market Nutrition, and food recovery. *Programs vary by region and market

The Port Townsend Food Co-op is a full-service organic foods market providing affordable organic foods to everyone-every day! We are a member-owned consumer cooperative serving our community since 1972.
