About Us
Thanks for checking out our farm! We (Melissa and Joanna) are in our sixth season providing Certified Naturally Grown vegetables, fruits, and plant starts to our communities while restoring and protecting native habitat. We enjoy getting to know our customers! Please visit our little red farm stand or consider joining our CSA program. Contact us if you'd like to keep in touch or join a work party!
Growing & Operating Practices
We believe in the principles of regenerative agriculture and are working to build community and contribute to a sustainable and equitable food system. We grow a variety of herbs, vegetable and tree fruits without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers, We save many of our own seeds, and those we purchase are organic, untreated and open-pollinated/non-GMO. Our produce has been Certified Naturally Grown, an alternative to organic certification that includes peer inspection and transparency. Our chickens are free-range/pasture-raised and we provide them with local, organic or non GMO grains. We choose to offer our chickens a rest in the winter and do not use lights to promote continuous laying. We minimize culling and honor the lives of the animals in our care.
