Soft Step Farm grows an array of regeneratively grown vegetables on one half acre in Port Townsend, Washington. The farm aims to maximize soil health, minimize waste, and spark a love of good food grown well.
Following Organic Standards, Soft Step Farm never sprays synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. In fact we go beyond current organic standards and aim to build fertility without the use of manufactured fertilizers, deter pests without the use of plastic barriers, and eliminate weeds with reduced tillage and an attentive hoe. By building a rich, minimally disturbed soil the farm grows resilient plants, avoiding the coddling of conventional agriculture.
