About Us
Sequim Bee Farm is a small, award-winning apiary located on the North Olympic Peninsula, in the foothills of the Olympic Mountains and surrounded by hundreds of acres of undisturbed mountain terrain. Our beeyards back onto pristine wilderness where our girls feast on thistle, snowberry, salmonberry, salal, and wildflowers. We strive to do well by our bees and in return, they reward us with gifts from their hives.
Our mission is to provide exceptional honey, raw and natural, to nourish our community, to lighten lives with exquisite beeswax candles, to educate everyone we meet about the amazing honeybee, and foremost, to protect and care for these necessary pollinators as this ultimately provides protection and care to us all.
SBF honey is available in several varietals including our nationally award-winning Wildflower, Blackberry. Lavender, and Snowberry Rose (Good Food Awards, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020). At times, we offer other varieties and specialty flavors.
We are stewards of the bees, but in so many ways, the bees are stewards of us. We learn from them to keep our houses clean, take care of others in our hive, work hard, work together, and leave the world better than we found it. Lessons from the hive are lessons in life, and we look forward to sharing these lessons with others.
