About Us
We want you to enjoy the same high quality meats our family has enjoyed over the years. We take pride in the products we produce; all our meat is grown with the highest quality care, minerals, feeds & water to provide you with a memorable dining experience, whether it’s at home or at one of our restaurant partners.
We are a family that enjoys quality and freshness in our food. We believe that healthy humans start with healthy food raised right!
We care about where and how the meats we raise come to your plate, providing you with grass-fed Beef, Lamb, Goat & Poultry products that are not only delicious but nutritious. That begins with healthy, happy pastured animals that are loved, well-fed and cared for in an ethical and respectful manner.
We are dedicated & working toward building upon the holistic, regenerative agriculture base that helps our ranch continue to improve in the ever-changing environment for animals and people alike to thrive for years to come. We are focused on rotational grazing, reduction of artificial fertilizers, improvement of water quality, decreasing tillage and enhancing biodiversity for long-term sustainable animal agriculture, and are looking for customers that want to be part of that movement.
We put our heart and soul into everything we raise and it makes a difference!
We are available at the ranch by appointment only.
Growing & Operating Practices
All Natural - Regenerative Rotational Grazing
We grow the food we would feed our own family; making every effort to keep it free of unwanted contaminants, using organic methods to raising our livestock and avoidance of genetically modified ingredients. That means our meats, eggs and other products are not certified “Organic or Non-GMO” as we feel that the added cost of certification does not always ensure quality. We put our focus on the product and not on certifications.
We believe naturally fertile soil is an essential component of a healthy grass-based ranch. We are increasing our regenerative agricultural foot print in conjunction with other permaculture agricultural practices like no-till, soil conservation, organic farming methods, turns pastures into a sustainable nutrient rich start for healthy animals.
We have been focused on reclaiming unused pastures and dormant land that would normally not be suited for plant agriculture for humans as a whole by adding ruminant animals to enhance those pastures over time.
Regenerative agriculture benefits the soil by adding natural animal droppings or by spreading manure composted from those same animals. We then utilize a mulching mower of previously pastured fields to increase ground coverage, locking in moisture and extending grazing capability of those pastures.
The ability to increase nutrients and the grounds ability to hold moisture is revitalizing and increasing its fertility for years to come.
It’s why we also compost all our manure from when the animals are not being rotated and add it back to pastures with all the benefits of a terrific, natural fertilizer
