About Us
Provo Farms sits on a five acre parcel near the center of Vashon. Using a two thousand square foot greenhouse and about two acres (the rest is a beautiful wooded ravine) we are excited to grow crops like raspberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, hot peppers and garlic for Vashon, and Maury Island. As our young orchard matures we look forward to apples, plums, peaches and more!
Growing & Operating Practices
We operate our farm with organic practices in mind. This is not only our farm, it is our home, so if our children can't be around it we won't use it. We have focused on building the soil through composting and cover crops. We use practices like rainwater catchment, crop rotation, drip irrigation and more to make our farm productive and sustainable.
