“Over the Rail” may be a new chapter for me but fishing is not. My father began fishing in his 20’s and found his way to Prince William Sound Alaska. My family spent that summer crammed on a 36 foot salmon “gillnetter”. Me, Mom, Dad and my older brother (and several years later my younger brother) started what would become the typical Feenstra family summer for many years to come. My summers eventually became a lifelong career. My partner Hannah and I have talked about for years on finding a way to share our ocean catch with people directly and the opportunity has come. I have a deep respect for the ocean and what it has taught me. My philosophy is simple “do what you love.” My mission is simple “work hard and provide for my family.” My goal is simple “catch great seafood and share it with you.” Welcome to our next chapter.
