About Us
We are a family operated Certified Organic and Bee Better Certified vineyard, orchard, and vegetable farm. We make our own wines and infused vinegars and pickled/canned goods. We focus on dry-farming techniques with permaculture methods to conserve water and promote the ecosystem. We like to grow heirloom crops and plants that can handle our climate with minimal care to promote diversity and create a hardy seed bank.
Growing & Operating Practices
Organic and Bee Better Certified. In our vineyard we practice Eco-dynamic Agriculture. Our founder, Robin Dobson, created this system. He planted the native wildflowers and grasses in the vineyard to establish balance and create a self-sustaining ecosystem. The natural processes established by this model allow for pest control, soil fertility, carbon sequestration, and diversity. All of these aspects contribute both to the farm, the surrounding wildlife and pollinators, and the consumer!
In addition, we are utilizing holistic farming practices and permaculture to keep a sustainable future. Using chickens to fertilize our vineyard and crop production, goats to prevent weeds, and no-till systems allow our farm to be diverse and put a focus on sustainable efforts.
