About Us
Kamayan Farm is a vegetable, flower, medicinal herb, and education farm just east of Seattle on Snoqualmie people’s land. We strive to reconnect land, food, medicine, and culture by growing a diverse array of produce, flowers, and medicinal herbs.
Currently, our 2020 Veggie Box Program is full, however we are considering expanding the program to include more members. If you are interested in signing up, please visit our website and fill out our wait-list form so we can adequately gauge interest.
Growing & Operating Practices
Our ancestors believed that everything carried a spirit and the spirits of the land, plants, and trees were treated as elders, with deep reverence. We use our daily work on farm to weave our way back towards these beliefs and aspire to honor the spirits of the land with the following practices:
Low-till or no-till practices that help restore the microbial life of the soil, honor the complex mycelial connections. Growing a broad diversity of plants, including veggies, flowers, medicinal herbs to help balance the farm ecosystem and employ integrated pest management to naturally reduce pests and diseases.
