About Us

We are a 5th generation, family-owned and operated farm located in the fertile farmlands of Lynden. Holmquist Hazelnuts Orchards enjoys a time-honored tradition of providing the freshest and highest quality hazelnuts and hazelnut products in the Pacific Northwest!

Find us locally at 10+ Western Washington Farmers Market throughout the Summer. During the Fall and Winter check our Facebook page and website for regular updates on other venues we will be attending including local craft and holiday festivals. Want to send a gift? Place an order on our website and we will ship them! Corporate orders also welcome!

Growing Methods

Certifications or Growing Methods: We are WSDA/USDA certified and use GAP/GMP practices. Our hazelnuts are Kosher certified and the raw hazelnuts are GMO free. We support our local economy whenever possible. We are a conventional operation, but strive to be environmentally conscious. Synthetic fertilizer and chemicals are used on a limited, as needed basis. Pesticides have not been used in many years. By-products such as the hazelnut shells, empty hazelnuts and husks are recycled into mulch. Our eco-friendly farm supports many wildlife habitats and we strive to be a sustainable operation.
