About Us

We are a small farm offering diverse vegetables. We use organic practices to grow lettuce, kale, Swiss chard, collards, carrots, beets, radishes, turnips, peas, tomatoes, squash, and more!

Because of our deep reverence for the land that feeds us and gives us a home, we choose growing practices that are ecological and sustainable.

-We choose to use regenerative farming methods. Farming can be intense! On the land, that is. We use regenerative methods, such as cover cropping, diverse plant species, and responsible animal grazing, to grow abundant food that also enriches the land.

-We choose to not till our soil in order to support a thriving soil food web; this allows the real heroes: the macro and microogranisms, fungi and bacteria, to live in a harmonious ecosystem with plant life. Not tilling builds lots of organic matter in the soil, sequestering carbon and storing it there. Tillage is responsible for a significant amount of atmospheric carbon while also degrading soil structure (think 1930s dust bowl), so unfortunately that means that even organic farms that utilize tillage can be causing environmental harm.

We are also the first, and so far, the only farm on the Olympic Peninsula to receive the status of Certified Naturally Grown. This means that we adhere to responsible growing practices free from pesticides and herbicides, and we use only organic amendments, most of which are produced on the farm.

Our farmstand is Pay What You Can so anybody can have access to local and nourishing fruits and vegetables. If you can pay more to assist your neighbors, please do, but never let the price of our food stop you from purchasing. There are suggested prices on all of our products, but pay what you can! We accept cash, check, Venmo, and PayPal.
