About Us
Helping Hands Food Bank/Solutions Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Skagit County with the mission to nourish the community with kindness and respect, without judgment.
The food bank is open for distribution at six different locations across the county. Helping Hands recognizes that many participants have needs that extend beyond food. They are dedicated to providing assistance and support to those in need, helping them to access the resources they need to thrive through resource navigation, DSHS assistance, notary services, street outreach, and more. No one is excluded from the services provided, as there are no eligibility requirements for any of their services.
Additionally, the food bank boasts an expansive community garden that is open to the public. Visitors are welcome to harvest fresh food for themselves and their loved ones, ensuring that everyone can receive the necessary nourishment for a healthy lifestyle.
