About Us

Since 1932 the Gordon Family has been farming in the Skagit Valley. Located in the Pacific Northwest, the farm lies in a delta created over eons by the Skagit River. The loamy soil from the river's deposits and marine climate makes it ideal to grow a variety of crops. Our location in the central part of the valley gives us surrounding views, mountains, snow capped volcanoes and sunsets. The Gordon Family has dedicated itself to the intuition of agriculture believing in its rich history and its important future to feed us - mind, body and soul. In the autumn season we open our doors to all those who venture forth and reward our visitors with good value and simple honest fun. We grow and sell carving and cooking pumpkins, heirloom and specialty pumpkins. Pick your own or choose from our bountiful autumn market display. Our winter squash are vine ripe in a wide selection of sizes, shapes, varieties and colors; they are both delicious to eat and beautiful to behold. Gourds, corn stalks and ornamental corn will round out your fall decor. Jonagold apples hang from our trees, ripe for your picking or from bins in our heritage barn. Our locally-pressed cider is a refreshing fall treat. , The Crop Circle corn maze and All-Hallow-Even-in-the-Back-of-the-Barn are festive and fun traditions that are free of charge to our pumpkin customers. On weekends in October the Red Fox Cider Shack is open for hot cider and tasty baked treats with proceeds benefiting the LaConner High School Culinary Arts Program., Unique to Gordon Skagit Farms are large original paintings of Skagit Valley farm scenes which act as a backdrop for our autumn marketplace. Limited edition posters of selected artworks are available for sale each year.
