About Us
Our namesake is a nod to the many rustic farm stands, both past and present, located throughout Seattle’s fertile neighboring valleys. We link urban commercial customers to the diverse range of ingredients one might find at these timeless landmarks through the use of a modern, convenient ordering and delivery system.
We drastically reduce the distance between Seattle’s innovative community of chefs and wholesale purchasers and the farmers from who they source product by creating an efficient sales channel for our city’s surrounding farms. We partner with local small-scale producers who are committed to using regenerative practices, and buyers who strive to make conscious decisions about where they source their ingredients. We offer in-field experiences for foodservice professionals and retailers and provide insight to our growers about demand trends in the culinary industry. Ultimately, we believe in building a food system based on transparency, where chefs and food purchasers provide end consumers with products from farmers whom they know and trust.
We work with farmers growing a diverse range of products to bring commercial customers the unmatched taste of our neighboring valleys. We foster mutually beneficial sales exchanges that allow buyers access to the finest local ingredients and that allow farmers to diversify their revenue streams. On a given week, you may find vibrant sun-soaked heirloom tomatoes, butter from cows grazing on lush local pasture, flour milled in small batches, and rich eggs from contented chickens.
