About Us

The Eat Local First Olympic Peninsula campaign strengthens Olympic Peninsula farms and producers by engaging the community through education, promotion and access to build a diverse and vibrant local food economy. The campaign is supported by a group of local collaborative partners including: The Food Coop (Port Townsend), Washington State University Extension Regional Small Farms program (serving Clallam, Jefferson, and Kitsap Counties), Jefferson County Farmers Markets, North Olympic Development Council, Olympic Culinary Loop, The Local Food Trust, and continues to grow to include more members who support our mission.

To learn more about our campaign and Eat Local Month that occurs in September, please visit our website and social media pages.  Take the Eat Local Challenge with us and discover the joys of supporting our local farmers, producers, fishers, and the local food businesses like restaurants & grocers who support local by working with our local farming community to source their ingredients and products.
