About Us
We grow a little bit of everything using sustainable growing practices at our small farm in the Puyallup River Valley. Our farm internship program provides training to cultivate the next generation of farmers. Share in the delicious bounty by visiting our spectacular spread at the Capitol Hill farmers market or by joining our unique CSA.
CSA members meet the farmers each week at pickup sites in Ballard or on the farm and choose from a "market style" spread of veggies as well as berries, fruit, herbs, and our incredible eggs!
Growing & Operating Practices
We use only sustainable, chemical-free growing practices. For example, we fallow half our vegetable fields each year and rejuvenate them by growing cover crops and letting our chickens graze and fertilize them. Pests are managed naturally with crop rotations, row covers, and biodiversity around the farm. Our egg-laying chickens are truly pasture-raised and you will taste the difference. They spend their whole lives outside and are rotated around our green pastures in their mobile coops. They are fed certified organic, certified non-GMO, soy-free feed.
