About Us

Our parents started this farm in 1955. One day, our mom Hazel went down the road to buy some local cucumbers. When she got home she asked Al, our dad, who was a part-time farmer, if he would plant her 1/3rd of an acre of cucumbers... that she wanted to sell them the next year and would pay him back for all the seed and all that would go into harvesting them.

So the next spring those little cucumber seeds went into the ground and God blessed the crop! She put a "Cucumbers for Sale" sign in the front yard and the people came! Hazel was able to pay our dad back, plus purchase a Singer sewing machine and buy her daughter's clothes for 2nd grade!

From small beginnings to today, God continues to bless our farm market! We endeavor to bring our customers the freshest produce and so much more from our farm and surrounding local farmers! We carry all of your pickling needs from jars to spices including our own jars of "Duris Spicy Dills"! Ask us about having a Pickling Party with friends/family! <3
