About Us
Located in the historic Machias area, the Dearborn family has always grown large gardens for their own food. Each year the gardens got bigger and bigger, growing a variety of corn, tomatoes, peppers, herbs, cucumbers, summer and winter squash, carrots, beets, lettuce, artichokes, garlic, asparagus, broccoli, collards, kale, cauliflower, okra, spinach, chard, radishes, peas, green beans, melons, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, grapes, onions, potatoes, dill plus much more.
We have expanded in recent years and now open our seasonal farm stand and specialty gift shop May through October. We mainly offer plant starts, organic produce, specialty huckleberry and local handmade goods plus much more! This fall, we will have our annual pumpkin patch, corn maze and holiday events.
At Dearborn Family Farm we believe in providing fresh produce and goods to our neighborhood. We want to share the benefits of growing your own food, nutrition and learning farm practices. We offer a hands on education program for kids and families to come tour the farm, plant in our community garden and meet the local farmers that grow all the food. There are hands on activities and a walk around the farm, please reach out to us info@dearbornfamilyfarm.com for more information!
Please check out our website or Facebook page for updates on events and offerings!
