About Us
We are a small multi-generational fruit grower located in Cowiche Canyon just west of and bordering the City of Yakima, Washington. Three acres of pears grown in volcanic rich soil from two of the worl'ds longest lava flows for basalt and andesite. Serving customers from around the world.
Growing & Operating Practices
Following Good Agricultural Practices with sustainable farming practices including IPM or Integrated Pest Management with the goal of preserving beneficial insect populations as the best method for controlling pest - timing of soft pesticide applications - using a soft management approach to keep in harmony with mother nature. We protect and love our beneficial insect friends and do everything we can to sustain them in our orchard.

- Seasonal during August through to October - if were we are home we are open - call ahead to make sure we will be home - in general we will be at home and open at the orchard
- Daily: 7 am - 9 pm
- Several varieties of pears are available throughout the harvest season starting in early August and ending late September sometimes running into early October. Our main variety is the popular canning variety - Bartlett. We have a early red pears that can be canned Star Crimson Red Pear - as it is very sweet and juicy - good for fresh eating can be ripened or eaten firm right off the tree. Other dessert pear quality varieties that are used for fresh eating and for cooking - salads - and are called winter varieties as they store for up to four months - Golden Russett Bosc, D' Anjou, Red D' Anjou and Forelle - we sell to suit your needs by the bag. box or bin. We are the best deal with the best quality produce you'll find located in beautiful Cowiche Canyon.
