About Us
Columbia Community Creamery is the first 501(C)3 nonprofit milk processing plant in the nation. Our mission is to: assist small dairy farms, provide food security for our rural community, rebuild local processing, support healthy, happy cows.
Our milk undergoes vat pasteurization and is bottled right here in Chewelah, ensuring a fresh and high-quality product. Packaged in glass bottles, we are dedicated to delivering a premium dairy experience directly to you.
Our milk is available at our creamery retail store in Chewelah, Washington, and various locations throughout Stevens, Ferry, Spokane and Whitman Counties. Enjoy the convenience of finding our high-quality dairy products near you.
Established in June 2023, our creamery supports local farms through market access, and technical support. Our nonprofit increases economic, social, and environmental benefits to our community. Foremost we are providing nutritious milk to feed our neighbors. Education programs reconnect community members with agriculture. Supporting local farms strengthens our rural economy.
