Black Sheep Family Farms LLC is a family run farm that turned itself into something bigger than we could chew! We have been at our homestead for only 2.5 years adding garden beds, regenerating soil, adding animals bit by bit, with dreams to expand into more. We grow organic (not certified YET!) vegetables, herbs, micro greens, flowers, berries, beans, tomatoes, peppers, and more! Our flock of chickens continues to grow each year, and will expand our egg selling production this year.
We offer a large variety of organic and heirloom produce, with options to buy Community Serviced Agriculture boxes (CSA boxes) from us. Those can be obtained on our website or through us at the local Port Orchard Farmers Market.
We sell food, seeds, plant starts, and flowers at the Port Orchard Farmers Market April – October, 9am-2pm.

Growing Methods
We use a favorite of sustainable and rengenerative methods, including: hugelkultur, Ruth Stout method, No-Dig (mounding/bark/hay) methods, crop rotation, greenhouse, and lots of upcycled materials for creative raised beds. We use bees and chickens to help fertilize our garden (& our time). When the PNW sun takes a winter siesta, we often move our operation right onto our kitchen table and unbox our plant lights; its like summer year round!
