Creating and Submitting Your Video

Record a video of yourself, or even your family or crew reading from the Eat Local Month Proclamation.

DO:

  • Read at least a few lines from the proclamation script (linked here)
  • Be sure to end your recording with “Happy Eat Local Month!
  • Making it personal by showing your passion and personality, your business or organization
  • Bonus points for showing off any local products!
  • Filming horizontally (this will allow us to make a cut that is vertical as well)
  • Using a tripod or something stable to hold the camera steady
  • Speak slowly and clearly

Please do NOT:

  • Wear or show any politically branded or labeled paraphernalia; videos with this type of content will be omitted.
