Indigo Dye Class

Come experience the wonder of the Indigo Vat in this hands-on Indigo dyeing workshop. Learn more about the history and legacy of the amazing Indigo plant. Visit the indigo patch on the farm and learn how we go from seed to leaf to dye pot.

Monica will demonstrate several Indigo resist techniques including Bound resist, Clamp resist, and Stitch resist. You will have the opportunity to try different types as you dye four linen napkins to take home. We will use pre-made organic vats to the dye cloth. No experience necessary.
