Happy Hour and Farm Walk with Melissa Spear at Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands

Join Tilth Alliance’s Executive Director, Melissa Spear, at Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands for a walk through the site and hear an update on all of Tilth Alliance’s programs and advocacy work. Come ask your questions, share your thoughts, and enjoy a drink and snack!
Arrive a little early and shop at our seasonal farm stand which is open every Thursday, 2-6 p.m. Produce grown by the Rainier Beach Youth Stewards at the farm joins goods from organic farms across Washington State and other local food products.
About Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands
This community farm in the Rainier Beach neighborhood is Seattle’s largest urban farm. Co-operated with the Friends of Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands, and owned by Seattle Parks and Recreation, the farm is home to annual and perennial vegetables, raised beds, native plants, greenhouses, giant blueberry bushes, wetlands, a nature trail and a large compost area.
