Community-led Workshop: Growing Your Own Medicine
May 5 @ 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM
$45.00This class will cover planning and preparing your herb garden, some of Anna’s favorite herbs that are easy to grow, how to grow them, and various ways to use them–whether that’s in the kitchen or medicine cabinet. Students will go home with notes on the plants discussed and access to recipes to guide them in using herbs in their kitchen. They will also get to take home one 4” herb plant start. An herbal-infused snack will be provided. Suitable for all experience levels including beginners and all physical abilities.
Anna grew up in the Pacific Northwest, free ranging in the woods and playing in the waters of the Salish Sea. She studied at the Evergreen State College and the California School of Herbal Studies and apprenticed at the Herbal Apothecary in Sebastopol, CA for four years. She has been growing and foraging herbs and making medicine for 15+ years. She loves to share the magic of plants through her herbal business, Nettles and Petals.
