Bickersons Brewhouse Anniversary Raclette Party

Local brewery Bickersons Brewhouse is celebrating the third anniversary of their original location in Renton. Mobile cheese shop Street Cheese will be in the taproom on Friday, November 10, for a celebratory Raclette party.

If you’ve never had Raclette, it is a cheese, a dish, and a verb. “Racler” is the French verb for “to scrape.” In Swiss tradition, Raclette cheese is heated until it’s melty and gooey, and then the melted cheese is scraped over boiled potatoes, pickles, and cured meats. In Street Cheese’s iteration, Swiss Raclette cheese is heated and melted over either boiled creamer potatoes or crispy potato chips, then served with duck prosciutto and cornichon pickles.

It’s the perfect way to celebrate Bickersons Brewhouse’s third year of business in the Renton community, and it’s also a great accompaniment for a pint of beer.
